PETER MICHAEL MARINO (CREATOR/PERFORMER)

Peter Michael Marino is an award-winning solo show teacher, writer, director, producer, and performer. He is one of the pioneers of live online virtual shows with his long-running, critically acclaimed Show Up, Kids!, Planet of the Grapes Live, and Desperately Seeking the Exit.

Pete played bad guy Joules Volter in the immersive Off-Broadway hit Pip’s Island. He is the creator of SOLOCOM, which has launched over 600 world-premiere, international solo comedies at The People’s Improv Theater. His 2015 solo chat show spoof, Late with Lance! played NYC, London, Buffalo, Orlando, Hollywood and the Edinburgh Fringe. Peter also appeared off-Broadway for five years in the percussion sensation STOMP.

JOHN CLANCY (DIRECTOR)

John Clancy is an Obie Award-winning director and a partner in Clancy Productions, a critically acclaimed international theatrical touring and production company. He is the founding Artistic Director of The Present Company, a leading Off-Off Broadway theatre company and a founding Artistic Director of The New York International Fringe Festival. He has directed six Scotsman Fringe First winning productions at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including Americana Absurdum (Brian Parks), Cincinnati (Don Nigro), Horse Country (C.J. Hopkins), screwmachine/eycandy (C.J. Hopkins) and his own Fatboy. Both Horse Country and Cincinnati went on to win The Best of the Fringe Award at the Adelaide Fringe in 2004. In 2002 he received a Glasgow Herald Angel for excellence in direction at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. John was awarded The New York Magazine Award in 1997 for “creativity, enterprise and vision”. In 2007 he was awarded the inaugural Edinburgh International Festival Award.
